Sister Cities of Delray Beach is a volunteer-run non-profit. Sponsorship is what keeps the exchange alive — the events that bring the city together, the Youth Leadership Program, and the students we send to Miyazu, Japan.
Sister Cities of Delray Beach has no paid staff and no endowment. Every dollar a sponsor contributes goes directly into the three things that have carried this partnership for fifty years.
The International Safari Dinner, cultural nights, delegation receptions and the Global Alliance Summit itself. These are how Delray Beach meets the wider world without leaving the city — and how visiting delegations are welcomed properly when they arrive.
Year-round work with Delray Beach young people — cultural learning, public speaking, civic engagement and the preparation that turns a local student into someone who can represent their city abroad with confidence.
The Student Ambassador Exchange sends Delray Beach students to Miyazu to live with host families, attend school and represent their city. Airfare and program costs are the single largest expense we carry, and sponsorship is what puts a student on that plane.
Sister Cities of Delray Beach is a registered non-profit. Sponsorship contributions may be tax-deductible — we will confirm the details with you directly.
Levels run from local business supporter through to presenting partner of the 50th Anniversary Summit, with recognition, hospitality and visibility scaling at each step.
